HP IMC Unified Communications Health Manager Software

HP IMC Unified Communications Health Manager (UCHM) is an IMC module that monitors the health of networks deployed with Microsoft Lync. You can visualize and monitor in real-time components associated with Lync, including Lync servers, PSTN gateways and Lync client endpoints. UCHM provides you with the tools to troubleshoot poor user experience so that you can optimize delivery of the UC&C service.

Features

Optimized Lync performance through monitoring
  • UCHM provides real-time status of the Lync service by probing the network to determine network link status, network performance, and Lync service quality.
  • The availabilty of real-time information allows the administrator to optimize performance and delivery of the service.
Troubleshoot UC&C issues to provide an optimal experience
  • By leveraging the alarm platform in IMC, UCHM provides Lync generated alarms that lend to root cause analysis of issues.
  • You will be able to perform end-to-end tests to determine connectivity and call quality between two endpoints.

Management

  • At-a-glance service overview — Presents overall information about services in IMC Unified Communications Health Manager Software (UCHM), including Lync service health overview and topology, resources, calls, and alarms.
  • Microsoft Lync topology — Allows you to view the server relationships within or across Lync server sites. It provides the inter-site topology, intra-site topology, server details, and server traffic.
  • Resource managment — Allows you to manage Lync servers, PSTN gateways, and Lync client endpoints. You can automatically discover, synchronize, and delete Lync servers, view monitoring information, set parameters for accessing the QoE metric database, query and delete PSTN gateways, and query, delete, and locate Lync client endpoints.
  • Microsoft Lync call history — Allows you to manage (such as query, view, and delete) calls in the Lync call history.
  • Microsoft Lync bad calls — Allows you to manage (such as query, view, and delete) bad calls in the Lync call history.
  • Microsoft Lync alarms — Allows you to manage Lync alarms, such as querying alarms and viewing root cause analysis.
  • Microsoft Lync QoS — Allows you to test and monitor call quality, including performing end-to-end tests, adding test tunnels, and viewing test results.
  • Parameter settings — Allows you to set the interval between two NQA operations, alarm thresholds for bad calls (per-user and all), and NQA operation result thresholds.
