HP PCM is a complete network management suite designed to simplify the management of medium to large business networks designed primarily with HP Networking network devices. The PCM suite provides a single pane of glass management solution for managing a unified wired and wireless network and includes network performance monitoring, network threat monitoring and policy-based user access management. PCM helps to reduce management costs while increasing network availability and security.

Platforms
IMC is a scalable solution that comes in two versions Enterprise and Standard; managing up to 10,000 nodes and has a modular design which enables comprehensive monitoring and management capabilities.
Attention: Existing Enterprise and Standard customers looking for support may download software directly using the support tool.
Standard Edition is the next-generation management software and supports up to 100 managed devices. Additional node licenses can be purchased to extend the node limit of IMC.
Enterprise platform allows for management of 200 nodes and includes the Network Traffic Analyzer module. It also enables hierarchical management of other IMC deployments within an organization.
Modules
There are a number of add-on modules and incremental node licenses available for either version of the platform. Both trial versions are fully upgradeable to a fully licensed version.
All modules have been updated to 5.1
Network Traffic Analyzer is a graphical network-monitoring tool that provides network administrators with real-time information about users and applications consuming network bandwidth. Network Traffic Analzyer is included in the enterprise platform.
HP Intelligent Management Center (IMC) Wireless Services Manager (WSM) provides unified management of wired and wireless networks, adding network management functions into existing wired network management systems.
User Access Manager supports user identity authentication based on access policies associated with infrastructure resources such as routers, switches, and servers.
Endpoint Admission Defense minimizes network exposure by integrating security policy management and endpoint posture assessment to identify and isolate risks at the network edge. This module is depended on having User Access Management installed.
Service Operation Manager provides full IT lifecycle management. SOM allows IT organizations to adhere to ITIL v3.0, including IT services such as policy design, operation, and improvement.
Branch Intelligent Manager offers resource, configuration, service, alarm, group, and privilege management. It allows the remote management of customer premise equipment (CPE) in the WAN.
Many enterprises are facing security threats from their internal networks. Auditing the online behavior of internal users is an effective way to find and solve such security threats.
IPSec/VPN Manager includes features for all aspects of IPSec VPN management. This includes real-time and historic status, performance monitors, problem recognition, and resolution.
MPLS VPN Manager provides functions such as VPN auto-discovery, topology, monitoring, auditing, and performance evaluation, as well as VPN and service deployment.
The HP IMC Voice Services Manager (VSM) Software Module supports integrated voice communications, and provides resource and service management for HP voice infrastructures and IP phones.
PCM+ Network Mangement
HP PCM Plus is a complete, Microsoft® Windows®-based network management platform that can integrate rich plug-in solutions like Network Immunity Manager, Identity Driven Manager, and Mobility Manager.
The following modules can be added to the PCM+ platform.
HP MM helps you visualize RF coverage, monitor performance and events, identify rogue devices and locate clients via its heatmaps, and generate reports. Configuration and software change management are provided through PCM+ platform.
HP Identity Driven Manager is a plug-in to PCM+ that dynamically provisions network security and performance settings based on user, device, location, time, and endpoint posture.
RF Planner
HP RF Planner accurately models WLAN coverage by factoring in variables such as physical features, building materials, and WLAN equipment characteristics. It also facilitates deployment by assessing security risks and generating equipment lists.
